Tuesday: Basics of Geometry

Points, lines, and planes; segments; midpoint and distance formulas; perimeter and area in the coordinate plane; angles

Wednesday: Parallel and Perpendicular Lines

Pairs of lines and angles; parallel lines and transversals; equations of parallel and perpendicular lines

Thursday: Congruent Triangles

Angles of a triangle; congruent polygons; equilateral and isosceles triangles; SSS, SAS, and ASA test of congruence

Friday: Relationships within Triangles

Perpendicular and angles bisectors; bisectors of triangles; medians and altitudes; triangle midsegment theorem; inequalities in one and two triangles


Second week- July 11th – July 15th, 2022

Monday: Quadrilaterals and Other Polygons

Angles of a polygon; properties of parallelograms; properties of trapezoids and kites

Tuesday: Right Triangles and Trigonometry

Pythagorean theorem; special right triangles; similar right triangles; trigonometric ratios

Wednesday: Circles

Lines and segments that intersect circles; finding arc measures; using chords; inscribed angles and polygons; equations of circles

Thursday: Circumference, Area and Volume

Circumference and arc length, areas of circles and sectors; areas of polygons; volumes of prisms and cylinders

Friday: Probability

Sample space; independent and dependent events; permutations and combinations
